The Country Club at Loch Lloyd is comprised of one 18 hole course, which is almost breathtaking, and one 9 hole course, The Sechrest Nine. The Sechrest course was the original front nine of the club. It is much more flat and has bent grass fairways. The fairways are very narrow for the first couple of holes and then it opens up a bit after crossing the road. The greens are in excellent condition but do not have the complexity of the 18 hole course. It is a nice little course but does not provide the same high level golf experience as the 18.
Be that as it many, if I belonged to Loch Lloyd, I would play this nine often particularly since it gets much less play.
