Fox Run Golf Club is a beautiful course in St. Louis / Eureka; same exit as Six Flags. The roughs were too long for my tastes but it could have been the day I played. Fox Run, which was designed by Gary Kern, is supposedly the longest course in Missouri. I loved the par 5, 9th hole. Tricky hole on every shot, particularly when playing from the forward tees. All in all, Fox Run is a great course. But, it is too difficult for me and too far from my house for me to ever consider membership. I will play again shortly and take some pictures of the course to provide you with a better representation of the course and amenities. Our goal is to provide useful information to golfers around the world about the 500 golf courses in Missouri. I have been lucky enough to play Fox Run a few times since it first opened and it keeps getting better and tougher. In my mind it is the toughest course in the area as there are no let ups. The challenges just keep coming at you hole after hole after hole, and it is always superbly conditioned.
