I live a short par 5 away from the first hole of Creve Coeur Golf Course in St. Louis so I have played this course many times. It is a great community course and actually more challenging than you might think. Is it a “must play” course in St. Louis? No. But, if you live in the area and are looking for something to do, go play it. It is also a GREAT course to take your significant other or kids. The one major drawback is that it is sometimes VERY slow but pick the right time and you will be able to play in 90 minutes or less. One major pro is that the course in an excellent value, particularly for Creve Coeur residents. BTW, for those into trivia, Creve Coeur means broken heart in French.

Would not recommend going to this golf course. Aside from being horribly maintained, the guy running the place has no idea how to treat a customer. Apparently the rain check policy is you have to be in the club house an hour after your tee time. After driving in from the fourth hole at the end of the course, I arrived an hour and two minutes after and was refused a rain check. After finally persuading this guy to give one, he would only give one to our party because we paid together. Just an absolute joke on how to run a business. The only thing this guy is good at is knowing how to lose a paying customer.
