Formerly named Southern Oaks Country Club, Beaver Valley Golf Club is located in Fredericktown, MO just west of 67. The present owners purchased the 9-hole course in 2018 and have already made great strides in improving its quality. The community has undoubtedly approved of the direction with their pocketbooks . . . membership has increase by 400%. Although, BVGC has a ways to go they are definitely on the right track. The club has a beautiful club house and the course has good bones, with an island green par 3. The greens are small and have fairly significant break, typically from the back to the front. Unless you have a straight uphill putt, these greens are not a pushover. Hazards are minimal, with one bunker and one lake. But, if you live in Fredericktown, you have a nice little course to play and a great community gathering place.
