I always enjoy playing Lodge of Four Seasons – The Cove at the Lake of the Ozarks. Hilly and challenging course but also a lot of fun. The course is in beautiful condition and is one of the top tier courses at the Lake. If you are used to playing on one of the finer courses in the big city, you will likely lose a few more balls than usual here because of the close proximity of the woods to the fairways. But, that is what makes this a great course; it makes you pay for your errors. So, if you score well here you are well deserving. The club is run by a staff of wonderful representatives of the Lodge, including Matt Tausig, Director of Golf, at the Lodge.
I have lived at the lake since 1999 and your reviews are fairly accurate. My golfing group have rated the following courses as the ones to play when you visit the lake or live here: #1 – Old Kinderhook, #2 – Porto Cimo, #3 – Bear Creek Valley, #4 – Lake Valley, and #5 – Osage National (Mountain & River Courses). Just wanted to let you know how we rate the courses at the lake. Also, thank you for your quest to play all of the courses in our fine state of Missouri. I will use your advice when playing other courses on our trips around the state. Thank you.
