I loved to play at Emerald Greens Golf Course in St. Louis. Regrettably, the course closed in 2019. But, in honor of this unique course I have left the pictures and our review.

It is an unusual yet reasonably priced golf course and has some very challenging holes. And, as long as you are not spraying the ball too bad you can score well here. The finishing holes are some of the best in St. Louis, and prettiest. Number 18 is one of the premier holes in the city. It is a fun course to play if you like unusual holes, and it has several. It is very walkable except for the half mile between the 9th green and 10th tee box. Play this course if you get the chance, if for no other reason than to play a very unusual course. The total yardage can be misleading since this course is unusual in that it has three par 3s on each nine.
Normally slower greens have recently been worked over and are the best they have ever been.
